What This Policy Covers

This policy applies to original Lockbuilds editorial content, site copy, visual branding, and complaints that content available through Lockbuilds infringes copyright or a related right.

Game-related assets, trademarks, names, logos, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

How to Report Alleged Infringement

If you believe material on Lockbuilds infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected]. Use a subject line such as "Copyright Notice" or "DMCA Notice".

We review notices and can remove or restrict access to content while we evaluate a claim.

Information Your Notice Should Include

  • Your full name, organization name if applicable, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  • The exact URL or other location of the material you want reviewed or removed
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Counter-Notice Process

If content is removed based on a copyright complaint and you believe the removal was a mistake or that you are authorized to use the material, you can send a counter-notice to the same email address. A valid counter-notice must identify the removed material, explain why you dispute the claim, and include contact and signature information.

Repeat Infringer Policy

Lockbuilds can limit, remove, or refuse future access to material or contributors tied to repeated infringement claims, abusive submissions, or repeated misuse of third-party content.

Good-Faith Requirement

Send notices only when you have a reasonable basis for the claim. False, incomplete, or misleading notices can create legal consequences and can delay review.
